1 step forward, 1 step back

Laney is still having problems gaining weight.  She has been stuck at 6 lbs, 14 oz since Friday.  The doctors seem to think that once we get her back up to her birth weight, it will be much easier for her to start packing on the pounds.  We are so close!  Also, she somehow caught a nasty eye infection.  Maybe her body is working hard to fight that off and that's why the weight is not budging?  Who knows?!?

Sometimes I feel like we just can't catch a break and other times I feel like we are the most blessed family in the whole wide world and that these difficulties we are having are nothing compared to what they could be.

Anyway, its not all bad news around here, we've actually been having lots of fun.  We went to the park on Sunday since it was such a beautiful day.  Brady took his football and made friends with everyone at the park and Laney took a nice nap in her stroller.

And here are just some other pics we've taken.  This is the co-sleeper that she sleeps in at night, it just sits right in our bed, its so nice to have her close, but still know she is safe.
