The Joneses had a family reunion this June in the grand town of Fredericksburg, TX. We loaded up the kids and embarked on our first road trip as a family of 4 to join the festivities. The kids both did great. There were times when they had just had too much fun and got a little cranky, but with all things considered, I thought they did very well.
We met at the big pavillion they have downtown and had BBQ catered in. Everyone brought their own drinks and a dessert. We got to meet family members that we had no idea existed and of course, everyone got to 'ooo' and 'aww' over our beautiful children.
This is a picture of the oldest (Johnny) and the youngest (Laney is the youngest - not me!) There were actually a few people who beat Johnny in the age department, but by the time we arrived (always late with 2 kids in tow), they had already left.

We have 2 Brady's in the family and so we had to get a picture of the two Brady's together. Of course, our Brady didn't want to stop playing for 5 seconds to take a picture, so this is the best we could get. Brady and Brady are 3rd cousins.
We thought this was hilarous! Brady went to the cooler, got himself a coors light and was trying to get a piece of ice that was stuck on the bottom of the can. We turned around and this is what we saw:
Lastly, Brady has his first ever drink of soda on the trip. He got a Sprite and he really enjoyed it. Obviously we won't make this a routine thing, but my boy is growing up and we knew this was bound to happen sooner or later.
Oh and if you are ever in Fredericksburg, you need to stop and get some homemade peach ice cream! YUMMY! (its not hard to find, alot of the little shops and fruit stands there make it).
