2 month checkup

Laney had her 2 month checkup on May 14.  She is growing perfectly and is right on schedule developmentally.  She smiles at us, turns her head towards our voice and has found her hands! 

She slept through the night (10:00 pm to 5:00 am) for the first time at 7 weeks, 4 days old.  After that it was hit or miss for about 2 weeks (sometimes she would wake up around 2:00 am, and sometimes she wouldn't).  But since about 9 1/2 weeks old, she has been sleeping from 10:00 or 11:00 at night till 6:00 am.  Mommy and Daddy are very thankful for this :)

She has started doing tummy time and can generally do about 20 minutes at a time before she starts to get fussy.  Speaking of being fussy, this girl hardly ever is!  She is the easiest baby (and Brady was the same way).  She is very laid back and she only cries when she is hungry or sleepy.  And when she does cry, it is pretty quiet, she hasn't quite found her lungs yet.

The doctor did not hear her heart murmur anymore, but they will continue to monitor it, just to be on the safe side.  She did get all of her recommended shots at her 2 month appointment and her "stats" came in as follows:

Length: 23 inches (75%)
Weight: 11 lbs, 4 oz (between 50% and 75%)
Head: 37.25 cm (25%)

In this first picture, I thought was taking a picture of Laney, but Brady decided I needed his picture instead :)  In the second picture, Brady was saying, "Got your nose!"
