Happy New Year

After we got home from visiting everyone for Christmas, I came down with the flu.  So, our New Years Eve (and Lance's 31st birthday) was pretty low key.  For 3 days I was pretty much dead to the world and poor Lance had the kids all by himself.  We both survived and by New Year's Eve night we were both starting to feel better.  So, we went out to eat for Lance's birthday with his parents and then they kept Brady at their house so we could catch up on our rest. 

We watched a movie together and called it a night.  Laney slept in till 10:00!!  I guess I should also mention that she had been up half of the night cutting a tooth.  But guess what?!?!  It FINALLY came through.  Sunday morning, when Laney greeted me with her beautiful smile, there it was, glaring me in the face.  It is her front, bottom, left tooth.

Everyone is doing great and we are excited to see what 2011 in store for us.  I leave you with my favorite "helper" who decided that when I went to the restroom for just a second, he would help me out by feeding his sister the rest of her lasagna:
