Mini photo session at our house on Halloween morning

When I ask Brady to smile, this is the face I get :)

Here it is again

Silly boy!

If Brady touches his toes, then Laney must touch her toes too. It is so sweet how much she looks up to him.

Here is an example of Laney going down the stairs "by herself"

I love this one! Brady is taking charge of that scarecrow and Laney is being shy and trying to figure out what that thing is :)

This is Brady being stubborn

Laney is a lady bug. We actually got rid of the boa in her hair before we left to go trick or treating (we decided it was too much and that less was more)
![]() |
"Can I have this sucker please?" Again, this was BEFORE trick or treating :)

Gotta have some nourishment (i.e. pizza) before we leave

First stop - our own house! Ma Lyn and Pa Roy came over to hand out candy for us while we were gone.

"Trick or Treat!"

"Thank you!"
Laney was so independent and wanted to do everything by herself. We took along the wagon, but she wasn't going to take the easy way out. She walked and went up to every door with her big brother. She said "bye" and waved to each house as we left.
Even though it was a later night than usual, both kids were in a great mood (maybe it was all the candy?) and hung in there the entire night.

Look at all the goods that Laney scored :)
![]() |
It took her about 2 seconds flat to figure out what to do next
![]() |
What a worn out little lady bug
![]() |
Still lovin' her shoes!
