On September 16, we were getting ready to go to a Raider football game when an "incident" halted our plans and sent us to the emergency room. Brady was playing on a step stool and decided to jump off (like he's done a million times before). However, this time he missed his footing and fell on his arm. I've never seen Brady hurt like that. His cry was a different cry than I have ever heard. He cried for a good 30 minutes and wouldn't move a muscle. I told him that we could just put some ice on it and then go on to the football game. He said that he didn't want to go to the football game and that is when I knew for sure that he was really hurt.
I loaded him into the car, which was reallly difficult since he wouldn't move anything on the left side of his body, and we went to the ER. We were there for 3 hours total and only till the last 20 minutes did he even move his arm. They did x-rays and couldn't tell if there was a fracture or not, so they put a temporary cast on it and told us to follow up the next Monday.
The next Monday we went to the doctor and it turns out it was just a very bad sprain. Praise the Lord!
