Easter 2011

The kids had a very eventful Easter this year.  It started on Thursday morning with an egg hunt at daycare.  Later that day, MaLyn took the kids to Granny's assisted living home for another egg hunt.

Then on Saturday morning, we went to a community-wide egg hunt.

The Easter Bunny made an appearance and he rode in on the fire truck!

Brady was made because he did not want to hunt easter eggs.  Even when Lance put some in his basket, he threw them out.

Laney loves to hold similar things in each hand.  Like if I give her an egg, she wants two, one for each hand.  It's like that with anything - she just likes to be in balance I guess.  Anyway, here she has two (unopened) treats from the egg hunt.

After we took these, the lady from the newspaper approached us and said she got a great pic of Laney with the EB and asked if they could run it in the paper.  OF COURSE!!!  So, hopefully she'll make the paper.  If so, you better believe I will buy all the papers in town :)

Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had come to our house and left basket's full of goodies for the kids!

Outdoor egg hunt for Brady.  Here he is posing by Levi's tree.  There were two Easter signs by the tree and we asked Brady to go sit by the signs.  What did he do?  Sat ON the sign - that kid makes me laugh so much :)
