Snow Day

Yesterday, the Austin area saw its largest snowfall in many, many years.  We got 2.5" here at our house and some areas got 3".  It started coming down in the morning and lasted all day long.  When it got started, I bundled Brady up and we ventured outside.  Brady wasn't too sure what to think at first.  It was coming down pretty hard (and huge 1-2 inch snowflakes too) and he didn't like it hitting him in the face.  He got under the cover in the garage and he decided that is where he liked to watch the snow from.  Here are a few pictures of our morning adventure:

Schools closed at 12:30, so Lance got to come home early.  After a nap, the snow and slowed down quite a bit and Lance took Brady outside again.  This time was much more fun for Brady, since the snow wasn't hitting him in the face anymore.   They built a snowman and everything:

Then, when it was time to come in, Mr. Brady did not like that idea at all.  His little face was freezing cold and all red, but he didn't care one bit.  This is what it looks like when something doesn't go Brady's way:

Overall, Brady's first experience with snow was so much fun!  It is so amazing to see him see new things and learn new things everyday.
